Is Faith a Psychological Deception?

Several times I've asked the question; "what does faith real mean?" I find a quote in the Bible; "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1. NKJV). But this leads to another question. Am I decieving myself or it was meant to happen? When things happen in our lives we conclude that it is fate but when we have hoped but the out come failed to satisfy our desire, we juggle between fate and lack of faith. Now, how can one determine what psychological state is ideal to keep the reality of future expectation?

It is intrinsic for us as human beings to have expectations. Most times, our expectations are based on what we dream of and work towards. With regards to our expectations, we condition our minds and set out on a journey to achieve without images of disappointment. We consciously embrace all positives associated with our heart desires and strike out the negatives. Even motivated when we envisage our next line of action once success is recorded.

In reality, we all get disappointed one way or the other, sometimes after practicing 'Mind Conditioning' (MC) or 'Mind Deception'(MD). This is where you as a user of FAITH shed light and reveal wisdom. How would a person in sound mind deside to remain in the state of MD?
